Durham School is ideally located, near the centre of this university city, on the west bank of the River Wear, overlooking the Cathedral, but standing in its own extensive grounds giving it a rural setting in an urban situation.
We offer a range of courses some of which we run directly while some are contracted out to organisations we have recognised as providing a first class service.
Easter:
Cricket Coaching (8-18 years) with professional coaches/players in our indoor nets. This is both residential and non-residential.
Swimming coaching for beginners and improvers.
Summer:
Cricket Coaching (8-18 years) with our Australian professional using indoor and outdoor facilities; non-residential.
Swimming - as for Easter.
Multi-sports (8-16 years) - a full range of activities offered.
For 1997 the following residential courses will probably run:
Cathedral Camp (16-25 years);
Classics - Greek and Latin from beginners to advanced;
